the visit to seoul this time ay due to work pa rin (hehehe… 2way ticket na economy pa lang costs $750 kasi), same as the last time. my 2009 trip was scheduled dapat for the first week of december this year so i can experience seoul’s winter season again. i enjoyed it the last time and wanted to experience a cold weather again sana. but since the office is paying for my trip — work is the priority and not my personal preference (naks! sana nabasa ng mga boss ko).
i took the same bus from the airport to the city… stayed at the same hotel… got the same view from my hotel room (sa likod na naman)… had dinner at the 2 favorite restaurants i ate from last time … shopped at the same 24hour shopping mall i went to the last time … and spent time with the same friends as i did last year

it’s summer there! it was hot and humid… ang daming flowers! fashion is cool – a lot of girls in shorts and short skirts. most stores are on sale! although it rained the first 2 days i was there, the sun came out the 3rd day, people loved the heat… they went out and enjoyed the heat (umitim nga ako eh) before autumn and winter comes along. people just have smiles in their faces especially the kids…

i decided to work from home again today. since most of my managers are away for an off-site event, i felt i needed to be away from the office to and concentrate on the things that needs to be done at work. those things i am not able to do at the office lately due to a lot of distractions. diba nga i feel na sometimes i am more efficient if there are less meetings, less phone calls… less people to see 
during break times, i would surf my favorite sites and then i happen to see the poster below… just timely now when i am in that stage in life where you have decided to be take the risk, wait and hope for the best (career-wise)…
i wish i have this in my room and in my office space...

i went to a training last week and had a really nice time learning, networking with co-leagues and some personal realizations too. one interesting realization is that i am under energy crisis pala. why so?
kasi daw :
- i am always in a hurry
- i often skip breakfast and only eat just beacuse i have to
- i do not get the usual 8 to 10 hours of sleep
- i do not have regular cardio workouts or exercise
- i have no specific wellness activity
- and the list goes on and on…
meron steps naman to follow para overcome ang mga ito. when i was younger, i would get bored sa office and wished i have more cramming and crunchtimes. i like the adrenaline and pressure. but now, i think i have had more than enough and i only wanted some slack time… some more me time… time to enjoy the things i like best.
time to be able to capture things like this..

monday na naman… at para sa akin, ano ang meaning ng mondays….
waking up early - i need to get up at 5:30am so that i can bring my car to the office and not commute (promise kung hindi lang ulan ng ulan… titigilan ko ang paggising ng ganito ka-aga!)
driving like crazy to work – needless to say minsan late na rin ako nakakaalis, alam nyo naman sa pilipinas 2minutes during rush hour matters, so even if my place is just 20mins away from the office, if i leave the house at 6:40am ang chances ko na makarating before 7:00am sa opisina is 70% pa rin lang. grabe, eh me pagka paging pa naman ako mag drive… so pag monday… ayun, patung patong ang nerbyos ko sa pag drive ng mabilis, mahuli ng mmda at maabutan ng red light!
emails – dont get me wrong, whoever invented emails is a genius at kung sino man din ang naka discover ng home/out-of-the-office access to your work email eh sobrang galing din… pero in a way, sana ang mga tao eh matutong mag celebrate at mag enjoy ng weekend! kasi pag monday, hay… kahit sabihin kong i log out late kapag friday, emails find a way to my inbox even on a weekend , well guilty rin naman ako sa sending emails on a weekend… pero promise i try not to… and so far i have not been doing so in several weeks now (hmmm a month na rin ata).
oh well… tama na ang whining… sabi ko naman diba mataas ang level ng tamad-factor ko ngayon
