2008 olympics sa beijing closing ceremony

sa bahay lang ako nanood ng closing ceremony. dahil i was totally amzed na sa nangyari noong opening. i was expecting nothing less than the ordinary. galing!!! from the countdown to the opening, hanggang sa pag pasok ng mga athlete sa stadium, sa pagpapasalamat ng mga athlete sa volunteers hanggang sa handover.

sabi nila the opening ceremony was the show of the century… this is a show to behold, too! considering the money used for this spectacle, the electricity/energy consumed,  this is treat to the eyes that we can afford every now and then, basta wag lang every day .

spot the gragon yet?

lahat halos excited na for tomorrow. like any other olympics this will be as colorful considering china’s is one country very rich in culture and history. the whole world will be watching! a lot of news already on the preparation alone. lahat halos na feature na kung papano ang preparation ng china for this. amazing! from bird’s nest stadium, to the government closing down factories to reduce pollution and to billboards/advertisements as huge as buildings itself!

when i was in singapore, i always have a supply of newspaper every morning – the strait times a singaporean paper. sobra akong napabilib talaga sa land development of olympic village. they call it the the “olympic green”. andun syempre and mga showcase structures like the bird’s nest and the aquatic cube. pero alam nyo ba na ang body of water or lake within the village is shaped as a dragon? ….. it is. see for yourself.
