sunday is mother’s day again. wether it’s on the net or in the mall or inside the restaurant, there are all sorts of gimmick to make mom feel extra special this day.

they say moms are our first teacher and the ones who truly first molded us to be who we are today. this maybe true to some and not true to others. for me, it is very much true. i believe i got my passion to read and read and read from mama… she would spend hours in the afternoon (given the free time from taking care of 3 kulit bulilits plus papa too), she would read books, magazines and newspapers. later on, when i was seven, she would make me read newspaper aloud to her in the kitchen every saturday morning while she unpack things from the market. then asfter one stroy she would ask me questions to test if i understood what i read.
